"Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, and learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, do not go gentle into that good night."
This particular line describes a specific type of person. This person is not overly emotional, yet not detached. They are joyful, they are inspiring, they are "wild". In regard to the rage against death, they too are opposed to going "gentle into that good night". Their sincerity to the pleasure of life is a result of their innocence, whether it be from their age, their inability to be influenced, or another factor. However, with innocence comes ignorance. Although these people are able to see the beauty in the world, they can sometimes be oblivious to the evil. In the photo I selected, the woman is clearly in a state of happiness. Nevertheless, the sunset symbolizes the end of life - as mentioned in previous posts. Hence, even though she is jumping with happiness, she must also have to fight battles that are on the horizon. Perseverance, determination and motivation are therefore the backbone of her rage against the dying of the light.
